Part of becoming a true fighter in the Star Wars universe—be it a Jedi or a Sith Lord—is constructing a lightsaber that is distinctly yours. This simple project is a quick lesson in building electronics and will set any young padawan on the creative path a true Jedi. Build your own lightsaber using FuzePlay's Lightsaber Circuit Kit that includes FuzePlay's patented Star Diffraction Glasses!
  1. BUILD a circuit by connecting the LED (Light Emitting Diode) to a coin cell battery. 

  2. HACK a lightsaber by holding the LED and battery together with a magnet. 

  3. PLAY with your light by putting on your FuzePlay Light Diffraction Glasses

The FuzePlay Lightsaber Circuit Kit + Star Diffraction Glasses is available in lab packs of 20. Each kit contains everything required for one student to complete a lightsaber circuit and take home their own pair of FuzePlay Star Diffraction Glasses.

Microcontroller Specs 

The Zubi Flyer is the bomb dot com for makers: 5 PWM pins, 12 DIOs as well as hardware serial connections Rx and Tx. Running at 16MHz and 5V. The onboard switch-mode boost regulator is designed to operate on 3 Volts.  Power can be supplied from a 3 Volt CR123A battery or from a USB cable that provides regulated +5 Volts DC to the board. Do not run any power exceeding 5 Volts as the regulator cannot handle step-down voltage.
